Course Overview
This course will use the ACPE model for continuing professional development (CPD) to explore and explain the importance of lifelong learning in the field of pharmacy. In order to stay abreast of changes in pharmacy from new drugs and treatments to reimbursement and practice management, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must continue to learn. It goes far beyond the requirements for continuing pharmacy education that we need for re-licensure. This course will help the learner identify their individual learning style, preferred learning environment, and ways to document learning. It will also help guide the participant in identifying what they need to learn in order to achieve their professional goals. Whether your goal is improved job satisfaction, to get a promotion, or to change your area of pharmacy practice, this course will give you the tools to direct your learning and find that dream job!
